Not only does she have a stunning voice, but a face to match. We are talking about 18-year-old songstress Rihanna, who now joins the stellar list of beauties to endorse Cover Girl, a leading American cosmetics brand.

Tyra Banks, Niki Taylor, Christie Brinkley, Molly Sims, Faith Hill, Brandy, and Queen Latifah have all represented the famous line.

Rihanna’s campaign is scheduled to start this month and will be released next summer, around the same time as her third album. Rihanna, whose mother is a professional makeup artist, grew up watching her mother apply lip colors, rouges and mascaras. Says the pretty Barbadian, “I’ve loved makeup and dreamed of being a CoverGirl since I was a little girl.”

Looks like the young star is about to give models a run for their money. In an official statement, Gina Drosos, who is the Vice President and General Manager of Global Cosmetics for Proctor & Gamble Beauty, the firm that owns Cover Girl, said that Rihanna was a great match for the cosmetics line. “Rihanna is a talented, confident young woman who exemplifies the CoverGirl ideals with her inner confidence and fresh beauty. We’re proud to welcome her to the CoverGirl family.” The future looks bright for this young R&B star.
