September 4, 2008 (Sawf News) - Comedy may just well be the genre that Lindsay Lohan should stick with, going by glimpses of her in the recently released first trailer of Labor Pain.
Lindsay, 22, rose to stardom with roles in films like Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded. However, her last two films, Georgia Rule (2007), a drama, and I Know Who Killed Me (2007), a thriller, both tanked at the box office.
In Labor Pain, Lindsay plays a young woman who pretends to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired from her job. When that gets her a bunch of special treatments by everyone involved in her life, she tries to keep up the lie for nine months.
The film directed by Lara Shapiro additionally stars Chris Parnell, American Idol contestant Kevin Covais, Disturbia (2007) star Aaron Yu, Janeane Garofalo and Office star Creed Bratton.
The film will hit theaters sometime in 2009.
