Known for her sartorial taste, Meester, 22, looked gorgeous in a fashionable breezy blue maxi dress with circular patterns and a shapely empire waist.
She matched her accessories with the dress - a high-gloss blue supple patent leather bag and a blue pair of thong slippers.
Sans jewelry and with light makeup Meester relied on her natural beauty. Her long straight brunet hair were softly pushed back and left open.
Sharing her views regarding the racy Gossip Girl campaign ads, Meester told at the Teen Choice Awards, Sunday August 3, "We just end up seeing it on a billboard somewhere. But I think that it's smart and it's fine and it's cool."
Leighton was nominated for three surfboards - Choice TV: Breakout Star Female, Choice TV Actress: Drama and Choice TV Show: Drama. She walked away with a surfboard for Choice TV Show: Drama.
Gossip Girl will begin its second season of 24 episodes premiering September 1, 2008. The first episode is titled Summer, Kind of Wonderful, a take off of the John Hughes' film, Some Kind of Wonderful. Other titles of following episodes include Never Been Marcused, The Dark Night, The Ex-Files, and The Serena Also Rises.
