Washington, May 7 (ANI): Fans of Amy Winehouse might get to see her as the new Bond Girl for the British singer has reportedly been approached by producer Barbara Broccoli to star in the new 007 flick.

A source revealed to Brit paper News of the World that the singer’s “retro glamour” look in her hit album Back to Black was what floored Broccoli, and the producer is now eager to sign on Winehouse for Bond 22.

"She's perfect for the role because she's the embodiment of the retro glamour of the original movies," the source was quoted, as telling the paper.

If she does agree to become the next Bond babe, the singer will be acting opposite blonde Bond Daniel Craig in the upcoming 007 movie.

The next installment is scheduled to hit theaters in 2008. (ANI)
