© AFP/File Max NashLondon, Apr 22 (ANI): Australian pop star Kylie Minogue will appear in TV hit series Dr Who for its Christmas special, where she will play a sexy cyber woman who tries to lure the doctor played by David Tennant.
A BBC source revealed that the Grammy winner was keen on playing the role and is really excited about acting again.
“Kylie jumped at the chance to be in the show and is really looking forward to acting again,” News of the World quoted the source, as saying.
The source also said that the team is really glad that they got someone as stunning and high profile as Minogue to beat TRP competition with ITV.

Stylist Will Baker, who is a good friend of the 38-year-old, persuaded her to take up the role.
The filming for the festive special is in July and script writer Russell T. Davies said that when his friend Baker suggested Kylie for the role, he thought that she would not be available for the next two years.
“I imagined she'd be booked up for the next two years,” he said. (ANI)
