London, April 13 (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney has composed a song about his bust-up with his ‘Beatle’ bandmate Sir John Lennon.
The song ‘Pizza And Fairytales’ will be a part of McCartney’s forthcoming album ‘Memory Almost Full’, scheduled to be released in June.
"Paul has spoken about John having a real go at him over the telephone, telling him his music lacked depth and meaning," the Daily Express quoted an insider as saying.
"John famously told Paul his music was all ‘pizza and fairytales’ and the insult stuck. He has always joked it could make a good song or album title and now he has finally put it to use," said the source.
McCartney’s new album will also carry a tribute to his late wife Linda McCartney.
The song is called ‘To Be Said’, and it is a musical composition of a poem that the singer had written about Linda.
The album may also contain songs about McCartney’s troubled marriage to Heather Mills. (ANI)
