Catherine Zeta-Jones in T-Mobile campaign ad.
London, Sept 27: Catherine Zeta-Jones will no longer be the face of telephone giant T-Mobile.
The Oscar winning actress has earned millions appearing in American ads for the mobile giant since 2003, but sources now claim she can now be "phased out" in favor of a "man-on-the-street" image.
According to the Wall St Journal, the company is planning to release cell phones that can roam onto wireless Internet connections at home and in T-Mobile's thousands of Wi-Fi hot spots in coming months, and the beautiful wife of Michael Douglas is not a part of the massive re-brand.
"The company has decided to drop Ms. Zeta-Jones from its advertising in favor of a more man-on-street approach to marketing, people familiar with the matter say," the Daily Mail quoted the newspaper, as reporting.
"Ms Zeta-Jones may continue to appear in some ads until her contract expires next year, but eventually she will be phased out," it added. (ANI)
