Washington, Sep 5: Tom Cruise finally has a supporter for his infamous ‘couch jumping’ antics last year on the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show’, as comedienne Rosie O'Donnell has said that she holds no grudge against the actor but is in fact mad at Winfrey for not controlling the situation.
Donnell, who is a longtime Cruise fan, has lashed out against the talk show host, insisting that she should have tried to curb his over enthusiasm when he loudly declared his love for fiancée Katie Holmes, whom he had only been dating for a mere 5 weeks then.
The MI-III actor had leaped all over Winfrey's furniture, pummeled the floor with his fists and shouted, "I'm in love, I'm in love."
"I saw him doing the couch jumping. I wasn't mad at him. I was mad at Oprah. Oprah, couldn't you have said, 'Tommy, come here! Don't jump'" Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Newsweek magazine.
"For me, to love someone is not to get rid of them when they do something you don't think is appropriate. I love him, and love is eternal," she added. (ANI)
