Charlie Sheen attends kids clothing launch a day after he's barred from seeing his own children by estranged wife Denise Richards
Charlie Sheen, "Two and a Half Men" star and son of actor Martin Sheen, turned up at the Magnolia restaurant in Hollywood on Saturday for the launch of his 'kidz' clothing line. A day earlier, a Los Angeles court issued a restraining order against him from seeing his own children, Sam, 2, and Lola, 10 Months, or being within 300 ft of his estranged wife Denise Richards. The Judge's order does allow the star weekly visitations with his children. Richards has filed allegations against Sheen citing gambling, abused prescription drugs and alcohol addiction and threats against her and her family. Richards also alleged Sheen frequented prostitutes and liked to look at pornography on the Internet.
Denying his wife's charges, Sheen reportedly told Entertainment Tonight co-anchor Mark Steines in an interview for a Paramount Pictures Corp. program to be aired on April 24 that Richards' filing is a "heinous document of fiction." He also says that the fact his children will be able to one day read these court documents is "the worst part." Sheen said, "I move forward and I maintain my integrity ... and focus on my children."
Sheen and Richards got married on June 15, 2002. Richards filed for divorce on March 2, 2005. Sheen responded with court papers of his own on March 21, 2005.
Charlie Sheen is the star of the popular CBS series "Two and a Half Men." He also starred in "Spin City" and featured in the films 'Scary Movie 4,' 'Scary Movie 3,' 'Hot Shots,' 'Young Guns' and 'Platoon.'
Denise Richards, who featured on December 2004 cover of Playboy, starred in feature films 'Scary Movie 3,' 'Starship Troopers' and the 007 flick 'The World Is Not Enough.'
