New York based, Marc Jacobs, 44, launched the Marc Jacobs label in 1987. Later he launched the diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs.
In 2008 Victoria Beckham will serve as the brand ambassador for the Marc Jacobs label while singer M.I.A. will promote Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Jacobs has been the creative director of luxury French fashion house, Louis Vuitton since 1997.
