October 09, 2008, (Sawf News) - Kareena Kapoor's flack says the star is all set to launch a fashion website "that will have updates not only on Kareena's fashion trends but also the trends which take place all over the globe."
Maybe the high altitude in Ladakh, where the wannabe designer is shooting for 3 Idiots opposite Aamir Khan, is affecting Kareena's judgment (Lack of oxygen is known to make you euphoric), because she is not known for her sense of style, either in films, or in real life.
Kareena's flack, however, is obviously paid to think otherwise.
"There have been number of occasions where Kareena has actively participated in designing her costumes in films. Kareena has always wanted to launch her own brand of clothes. The website is her first step in that direction," the flak says.
"She has always kept herself updated about the latest trends in the fashion industry worldwide. She has sound knowledge about the fashion industry and the website would give her a chance to share her knowledge with her fans."
Kareena, may well become the world's first designer to have designed her website before her first clothing or accessory range!
Hollywood celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé who have ventured into fashion designing were all style icons before being struck by the entrepreneurial streak.
