The film, produced by T-series - a film production house with deep roots in the music industry, is rumored to be contemporary adaptation of Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak (1990), headlining Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. It is a romantic thriller about a young man who falls for a girl in Morocco. He soon discovers that her past lies in the murky lanes of Lahore's red light area, Heera Mandi.
