Katrina Kaif in a still from Namastey London. 11 September 2007 (Sawf News) - Ever since Saif Ali Khan split with his long time girlfriend Rosa Catalanno he has become the absolute delight of the tabloids in Mumbai which are gleefully linking him with just about every unmarried fair maiden in Bollywood, single or attached.
It is amusing how little discretion the tabloids credit Saif with, believing that if she is a she Saif is probably interested!
After Bipasha Basu, Kareena Kapoor, the latest Bollywood actress to be linked with the exceptionally glad eyed Chotte Nawab is 23-year-old Katrina Kaif.
Whispers of a Saif - Katrina romantic linkup took to the air after the two started spending long hours playing chess on the sets of the film Race directed by the duo Abbas-Mustan.
Interestingly Race is the same film for which Saif and Bipasha shot an intense lovemaking sequence. The sequence was shot in the middle of July and apparently filmed at Sankraman Studios, Goregaon East
All crew members except for the director duo and the cinematographer were asked to leave the sets when they "shot this extremely steamy sequence," said a source on the set.

"Industry has talked about my affair with so many other actors too. So why respond to silly things which don't even exist? Lots of things are written about my relationships that even I don't know," she told HT Tabloid
She is also unabashed in praising her co-star
"He is a fantastic person. He is such a nice company. He is among the decent actors of the film industry and I like to gel with such people. What makes us very good friends is that we both have lot of things in common besides our interest in playing chess."
"It's not just a chess connection, he's a nice person and I feel comfortable with him."
Interestingly, Kareena was reported echoing very similar sentiments when she was questioned about the time she and Saif were spending together on the sets of Tashan first in Leh and then in Jaisalmer.
One person who is definitely not going to be pleased with the tabloid buzz linking Saif with Katrina is Salman Khan. We think he might end up painting a lot more than he did during his recent stint in jail.
On the other hand John Abraham is probably sleeping a lot better these days.
