Kareena and Abhishek Bachchan may star together in a movie being produced by RK Films and directed by Randhir Kapoor. They made their debut together in J P Dutta's Refugee some years ago. There are patch up signs between Karishma Kapoor and husband Sunjay Kapur at least as far as their infant daughter is concerned. Baby Samaira can now get her passport and go with her mother to the United States if she wishes. Karishma has agreed to let Sunjay have controlled access to his daughter. The Kareena-Abhishek film is seen as one more ‘patch up’ operation between the Bachchan and Kapoor khandaans. Mumbai: Sep 24, 2005/Sawf News Service/ -- On the one hand, forgetting old wounds and prejudices, Abhishek Bachchan, who was to marry Karishma till their engagement broke (and Karishma married Sunjay Kapur, her childhood friend), may work with Kareena Kapoor in Papa Randhir Kapoor’s forthcoming movie, which will be produced by RK Films, the Raj Kapoor banner. “I am sure Kareena will play the lead in my film,” says Randhir Kapoor, “The RK banner has already signed Abhishek Bachchan for a movie two years ago. We are now working out the details of his dates, availability etc. before we can make a public announcement.” There is talk that Karishma will return to the silver screen and this film may be her first after marriage and motherhood, though Papa Randhir denies this rumour vehemently.
On the other hand, news says that Karishma Kapoor and husband Sunjay Kapur have decided to bury the hatchet and solve their marital problems out of court. They have agreed that Sunjay will sign the form for getting their infant daughter Samaira her passport and that Karishma will give Sunjay controlled access to his daughter. The lawyers of both parties met after the court advised them to settle the matter amicably and they came to this private agreement.
